Arctic Monkeys Digipak Conventions
From my research, I can see that the Arctic Monkeys do not abide by standard conventions. In every digipak I find, at least one key convention is missing, as seen in the covers below.
Being a profession, well-known band would expect them to fulfil a simple check list of how to make a digipak. I believe that this is not ineptitude however, I am confident in saying that the Arctic Monkeys have taken creative liberty and bravely excluded certain aspects. For example, in the album directly below, AD, they didn't even include the title at all. In doing this, they have made the album cover iconic, as it is not hindered by any text getting in the way, this symbol is now iconic everywhere, even if you haven't heard of the Arctic Monkeys, this cover should at least look familiar.
