Evaluation Question 3 - How did you use media technologies in the construction, research, planning and evaluation stages?
In AS I learned a great deal about different technologies used in media (See here). However, my knowledge has not only increased since then, but also the programs available to me.
Construction
This year I had access to Adobe After Effects, which enabled me a greater variety of effects. This was how we implemented the blur in our music video. Not only that, but it was quite fun to experiment with, seeing the differences in effects and usage to Premiere Pro.
Speaking of, my skills in Premiere Pro have significantly improved since AS, for example I am able to work around may problems intuitively now that my knowledge of the program has expanded.

However, in A2 we produced more than just the video task, we also had ancillary products (Digipak and magazine advert). This meant I needed to learn how to use the image editing software Photoshop, and I proved myself quite adept. Maybe because I have used other Adobe products, or because I now know my way around such programs, but I found Photoshop very easy to pick up, and quickly. My ancillary tasks were almost complete within only several hours worth of time, which left me more time to focus on the main task's editing.
Research and Planning
Having moved from Blogger to Wix to display my work, a lot more customisation options were now available to me. In Blogger, there was a definite limit to where I could position texts and images, owing to the fact poss were always in a text format. However, with Wix I can position at text box or image wherever I wanted.
Evaluation
Looking back on my AS evaluation, I can see that I ave improved i specific areas. In question 7 of AS and question 2 of A2 I used publisher to illiterate my points. However, the difference would be the quality and time taken to finish both. My A2 piece looks better visually, and it took half the time to finish one page.
