Record Labels Research

The music industry as it stands comprises of 3 major music labels that dominate the market:  Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group. There was previously a 4th competitor known as EMI Records but it disbanded in 2012. All of these companies own several sub-labels that operate under them.

The Hoosiers

The Hoosiers have had many different labels in the past, starting off with Sony, under RCA Records, but separated and became independent owing to a disagreement in the advertising and marketing.
