Record Labels Research
The music industry as it stands comprises of 3 major music labels that dominate the market: Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group. There was previously a 4th competitor known as EMI Records but it disbanded in 2012. All of these companies own several sub-labels that operate under them.
