The Hoosiers debut album, The Trick to Life, holds an interesting digipak. Unlike conventional digipaks, this one had multiple covers in different colours, blue, yellow, red, green and even a multi-colour one released later. The initial impact of this marketing decision is too gather attention. Most other digipaks and CDs of artists on release day will see a display of either multiple of the exact same album repeated, or a cluster of completely different choices. Either way, the Hoosiers' The Trick to Life as an advantage in both situations.
The bright and simple design is immediately eye-catching in a crowd of other CDs and even more so with other The Trick to Life CDs. This is an incredibly useful thing to have for your debut album, as they do not already have a fan base, this raises the likely hood of gaining fans and attention right from the get go. This fits The Hoosier's and their band image, as they are generally very unique and alternative in their music and personality, so a fun, alternating colour connects to how they act as a band. The simple, pleasing to the eye design could imply how the try to be nice and interact with their fans.

On the other side of the spectrum would be an album from a well established band, Take That for example if we were to stay in our alternative rock genre.
